Features -Creature Behavior
Views: 158
In ShadeCores, same as in CipSoft's, creatures that's fleeing for their life (low health) will not make any pauses no matter how close the player is.
Creatures that keep distance however, will make pauses if the player catch up with them as they're running away in attempt to keep the distance, but if they're hurt enough to flee for their life, they will no longer make pauses.

Creatures also doesn't have any exhaustion of their abilities such as attacks, healings and more.
This means that a creature can use the very same attack multiple times in a very short time-frame causing combos.

This is a sight many players have faced in CipSoft's back in the old days, double bolts!

And this is something many players have paid their life to, the dangerous dragon combo!

Additionally, creatures has no problems with stair-jumping, they will keep attacking the stair jumping player.
In most if not all OT's, creatures become semi-retarded and are unable to attack players if they're stair jumping.
But in ShadeCores, creatures will attack you even if you stair jump, and if you bother them too much, they become more aggressive.
